Still Life 04:05
My mistakes are how I feel Everybody wants to help But it seems just like I'm not here I'm not even here Think loud and never come back Think loud and never come back Think loud and never come back Think loud and never come back Forget about your eyes Cause warm is the dark Hide your face until you're blind Let's swim into the dark Think loud and never come back Think loud and never come back Think loud and never come back Think loud and never come back Days and sunlight's falling down the creek I could never turn back Turn back

Apical Bud 04:10

She spent four winters Waiting for the night She couldn't number The flying clouds You'd never bear The changes in her life Then one day you stopped Stopped to disguise By the devil, by grace She forgot all about The treasure that she wrote you are She lived without any appetite But always fulfilled your own With her fears in mind Dream of a pale light
5.
Quiet blue nights Fireworks on the canvas sky The painting's bright. The burning light, so early on the day Colors Warm roses stuck on my eyes The stakes are high, the fading time Could we die in this graceful light We were so young We lived so numb My hand in hers She says it hurts Hearing clouds Through the racks The sky so red The earth of dead I've never seen Such lights at dawn Now it's forever We were so young We lived so numb My hand in hers She says it hurts Hearing clouds Through the racks The sky so red The earth of dead I've never seen Such lights at dawn Now it's forever As light divides The night never ends The deepest dark For now is our friend As light divides The night never ends The deepest dark For now is our friend As light divides The night never fades The deepest dark For now is our fate

Lost House 05:03
There are things I could say And some I would change But now it sounds like your way through that You're way through that And so it fades in the dark As you live in the night Alone as you liked Always so far from saving you I didn't deserve your love Spinning around the mystery There was nothing to wait for We failed to see There were signs that you faked Drifting near the sea Your words got out real And your house got fed Your lungs in the shed And so you went in the dark As you lived in caves You made your own bed Always so far from telling us You didn't deserve our loss Spinning around your misery There was nothing to wait for You failed to be Always so far from telling us You didn't deserve our loss Spinning around our misery There was nothing to wait for You failed to be And you will never know How flawed is our grief And you will never know How much we're relieved And you will never know How flawed is our grief And you will never know You will never know

Dead Leaves 02:53
It is just a lie, walking down the alley It is just a light, killing off the dream Sleeping dolls with leaves as cover Spring is dead, my bed full of dead flowers If only you could have seen it with me As the sun is rising, they just get dry Birth is nothing when you always die The scenery's flawless, with nothing to hide When it's all there it gets harder to lie What if we're all the same What if they're just like me What if we're all to blame It's happening all again Close your eyes and hold your hands It's getting dark over again Over again Again
9.
Life has come to me again It turns me on, I always bend It has this perfume of tale and fate In my head for nights and days Could you bear it to death Would you save anything from me I see the end in bicolor Light and dark all around your neck Hollow Hollow Hollow Hollow Life has come to me again With faded stars and bleeding men It always looks the same for me What if you and I see differently Precious words of my past Were you only heard by me Aren't we always falling for our lives For never making them gleam Hollow Hollow Hollow Hollow Hollow Hollow Hollow Hollow Our up is down Our sky is ground How low we stand Make us amend Our up is down Our sky is ground My faith digs in the sand of the earth I drink the blood of the earth Someone will ignore the stream going on And dream of a better place to be alone He'll see the truth we always tried to know We can't go, knowing that we'll never glow Someone will overcome this lonesome due And feel the flames of the sun upon his shoes The mountains will be swallowed by the shore We won't know, if it worth our sorrow Life has come to me again It turns me on, I always bend It has this perfume of tale and fate In my head for nights and days Could you bear it to death Would you save anything from me I see the end in bicolor Light and dark all around your neck Hollow Hollow Hollow Hollow All up is down All sky is ground How long will stay This radiant sail Top of the mountain But down the hill Every journey Seems unreal All our faces Drawn by the wind Sometimes they hurt Maybe they're from flesh and blood We're still afraid of what will come ahead Couldn't we just look the other way As the fire, darkness won't remain Cause all things must pass Will we be there at last
10.
Solar 07:26
Calling for a light, a solar fight To make it through The fog of my ashes So I could stay here Waiting for more and begging for less Without a doubt that I'll escape I wish I could say it all at once But there's always more to it Maybe some words I already know Some blurred places that I draw Lights show their beauty for ages They're made of the truth we need And this truth is time I wish I could see every sign Before we let them go away When our time is done I wish I could say it all at once But there's always more to it Maybe some words you already know Some blurred places that you draw Summer breeze A picture freezes And it shines with gold When my eyes get sore Winter breeze The trail unseen But It shines with gold When my eyes get sore

about

𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑘 𝑙𝑜𝑢𝑑 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑛𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑏𝑎𝑐𝑘

𝑇𝐻𝐸 𝐿𝑂𝑊 𝑆𝑈𝑀𝑀𝐼𝑇 presents itself as a journey of dark corners and luminous panoramics. The album doesn’t tell a story, and yet storytelling is at the heart of the experience. The storytelling of time, cycles, of the end of all things and of the eternal new beginning. It took three years to get to the end of this singular and ambitious project, with a dozen of musical guests as Aurélien Ouzoulias on drums (Morglbl, The Prize), Aurelien Goude on lapsteel guitar (Esthesis),Quentin Thomas on the alto saxophone (NCY Milky Band), Prosper Sibertin-Blanc on the cello (Horama), and my media composer colleague Mathieu Vilbert on the violin.

With its artistic direction inspired by the European romantic landscapes from the XIXth century, the album’s visuals shine thanks to the amazing and immersive paintings of the german painter Michael Handt, also thanks to two animated music videos directed by Capucine Lesort and Léo Cannone for Still Life and She Dreamed Of A Pale Light respectively.
